Not to many people stick with their goals after the first month. My girlfriend is one of the few people that I know who are still tracking on their goals that she set out in late December for this new year. One of the big goals is for her to do her first half marathon!

On October 13th she got to do her first half marathon in Long Beach. There were 3,000 plus people there in the event and it was amazing! The amount of motivated people was inspiring to see and it opened my eyes to how many people think about their health!

It’s so easy to set out a goal and never follow through but the next fitness goal you set out for yourself write it down and get it done! Keep bettering your best!

Got a Go Pro Camera and an I Phone

I have always wanted to capture my surf sessions since it’s something you can re live when you watch it and the good times instantly come back. I got to get myself a Go pro and have been loving it.

Go Pro has an amazing app that I recommend anyone to get if you have one.

I also needed to upgrade my phone since it was running so slow so I got an I phone and now all my devices are apple and I am super happy on that. I also got one of the most amazing cases ever!

How the Purpose Driven Life Book Changed Me

Diving into a life changing book

This was the last book I thought I would see my oldest brother read; wait, I didn’t think I would ever see him read!

The first time I heard of the book, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren was actually walking in on my older brother reading it.  He was the “rebel” of the brothers, but starting dating this girl that really brought the best out of him (now his wife) and she encouraged him to check it out.  Let’s just say by the end of the book he was a changed man!

Another story about this famous book came from my business coach. Before taking me on as a client, he encouraged me to read the same book that my brother did 6 years earlier since it had such a powerful impact on his own life.  I was actually really excited to read it.  After it was all said and done, I was filled with so much energy!

Just like anything you do, if you don’t constantly remind yourself about what you learned, you won’t live it out as much.  I recently met with a woman about a business opportunity.  After hearing her story, I told her that I thought that the timing was not right for her right now, but how she could benefit from reading this book.  She texted me about two hours after our meeting, and indicated that she already ordered the book and couldn’t wait to start!

Have you ever wanted access to something that you couldn’t have?

My friend Nate has been involved in the company I am currently with many years before I became a brand partner with them. He was trained by a leader that was a legend in the company years before I was involved.  I recently had the opportunity to learn from this legend through my friend Nate's journals of notes from his teachings.

The Journals

Nate and I become friends last year, and he offered to let me borrow his journal to see the stuff that this “legend” taught him.  After reading his journals, I learned a lot of new stuff that I can take away and apply.  However, the coolest part is that so much of the information is the same that I learn even today.  If you or I want to be successful, there is a four letter word we must learn and that is "WORK." The other word we must learn is "DUPLICATION."  There is no magic formula; just put in the time, keep bettering your best, and in time you will be a great one just like the top income leaders! 

Whatever goal you are looking to accomplish, stay the course because you never know when you will have your next mini victory or major victory!
