Two more classes!! Waves?

I just finished my MKT 498 and MKT 445 classes yesterday! They were both challenging classes because of the demand that I had to give towards the classes. Today I started my last two classes BUS 475 and SCI 220 and then I will be graduating! This is a really exciting time for my family and I. We can not wait for these five weeks to fly by and to graduate!
Waves have not been that good but still trying to get in the water even just messing around on a fish or a longboard. Hopefully some waves soon.

ALTERNATIVE SURF SEAL BEACH!!!

Alternative Surf in Seal Beach had a grand re-opening today and it was sick! Rusty Friesen and I went to sign some poster and give out some free swag.
I have been riding for Alt Surf since I was 16 years old and been a shop rat ever since! It would be the place I would hang out to do homework, learn from the older riders, learn about the sport, get stoked on all the new bodyboard videos and soo much more. The shop means a lot to California bodyboarding and to have a place that is 100% bodyboarding is amazing! The new owners are awesome, the staff is professional, the shop looks really nice, product is fresh and everything is amazing!! PLEASE stop by the shop and support them. You can also shop online at www.alternativesurf.com Alternative Surf has some of the BEST ideas for 2011 that I have heard in a long time and I am so pumped!!
Only five weeks of school left till I graduate!!!! BOOM!!!

I am sooo happy that Alternative Surf is re opening. I have worked at the shop and been a team rider for them since I was 16 years old. This is my third generation of shop owners and I truly feel that the new owners are exactly what the shop has been needing. BIG THINGS are going down with Alternative Surf and I can't wait!!
Be sure to support them any way that you can and come out to the grand re opening its going to be sick!!
I will be TWEETING when I will be showing up, pictures of people their, how it looks etc... It is going to be awesome!!

Blogging for Kreed!

My eyewear sponsor Kreed has been really impressed on my blog and the amount of viewer ships I have been having on top of my consistency that they just hired me to post and write their blogs! I am really stoked to be helping them and getting paid each month is a bonus! PUMPED! Thanks for the support guys and THANK YOU everyone who checks out my blog and remember to subscribe to it as well!! Yewww

Here is the link to their blog so stay connected as well! http://www.kreedeyes.com/?page_id=173

The owner Mark had this to say, "Jeremy Wright is a natural to be part of the KREED family blogs.
Jeremy was our first official team rider back in the day when we didn’t even have stickers!
(Well maybe Randy beat him to it but that’s another story...)
Jeremy actually drew his own KREED logo’s on his boards!
How punk is that!
Jeremy also does a ton of traveling when he’s not in school and spends heeps of time in the water.
He also shoots pics and loves to tell the tales while he’s traveling..
I would call Jeremy one of the 10 happiest and most excited people that I’ve met!
Stoked and blessed to have Jeremy on the team and the KREED blog trail!!!"

Brenden Newton Website

Brenden Newton is one of my favorite big wave bodyboarders since I first saw pictures and video of his trip to the Canaries Island when he got the cover of the Riptide magazine and crazy fronton. On top of his skills in the water hes a man of God and a true inspiration in the way I live my life! Check out his new website HERE
Keep up the good work Brendo! Super stoked for you!

Jason Wright song Psalm 127

This is a typical Sunday at my house while I'm home from traveling. My brother put music to Psalm 127 and I LOVE it! Good job Jas!

FRONTON comp

This contest looks INSANE!
Red Bull TV will be streaming the event live via satellite on Red Bull Web TV (http://www.redbull.com/tv). With a professional production crew capturing footage from land and water along with legendary commentator Manny Vargas on the microphone, this is going to be an event not to be missed.

Last surf with Dorin and Ryan breaks his back

My friend Dorin left and headed to MEPs, then from there the Recruit Depot in San Diego. He will return with the title of US Marine. I have known Dorin from when he first started bodyboarding and he would hang out with me everyday when I would work at Alternative Surf. Nick Arant and I made sure to surf with him as much as possible with him before he left. This is the last session that we will have with Dorin for a while. Proud of you D-ROD!!!

My friend Ryan Vandever just broke his back last week bodyboarding. The first time I met Ryan was in Hawaii. Since we were both from Cali we instantly started cruising and hanging out. He has had the travel bug for a while and has had some super sick trips over seas. I personally think he is really under rated and I can't wait to see him come back from this and keep killing it! This is in his own words, "pretty much on wednesday i got a little barrel at big rock and it kind of pinched on me. when i went over with the wave i landed on a rock that felt like someone throwing me onto a fire hydrant. at first i just thought it was badly bruised but once i got onto the beach i started getting the worst shooting pains from my back down to my leg and i could barely walk. i decided to go home and take a nap and see how i felt after, but when i woke up i couldnt even get out of bed because of the pain. my sister took me to the ER that night and a CAT scan showed 2 breaks in my lower vertebrae(L2,L3). i go see my doctor tomorrow so i'll find out when he thinks i'll be able to surf again."

I know this post is not the most up lifting post I have done but with Dorin being gone to join the Marines and one of my friends breaking his back I just like to give myself a reminder on how blessed I am to have an amazing family and the life I live. Count your blessing and enjoy time with friends and family.

Slater wins 10, King Stewart, and Fun waves

Kelly Slater is such a freak and has just won his 10th world title. CRAZY!

Mike Stewart has nine world titles and a million other ones. I saw this clip of him and was stoked! Enjoy it.

My friend Jon D and I got some super fun waves last week with just us and two french bodyboarders out and this wedgey reef. We all got some ramps and had a blast! I have been working a bunch of odd jobs at home so doing a day trip down south was perfect for my sanity.

Three Motivating and Inspiring Videos

This year in regards to school has been challenging. I have twice as many units as a full time student and balancing everything that I have going on is tuff a lot of times. I always have to find videos to motivate or keep me siked up to get my work done. These three videos below I like for different reasons.
The first reason is of my favorite bodyboarder Jeff Hubbard. The video speaks for itself and Jeff wrote to me when I finished my last two classes, "Yeah JW good work keep it up, stoked for you!" His support is amazing and I really really want to see him take out all the canary island events for the world tour! KILL IT JEFF!
The second video is of Nick Cannon and his grind. I like this quote that he says, "Hustlers never sleep, we take naps"AND "For me to be in the situation that I am in I have to live life to the fullest and live life to the fullest and wake up hustling every day because it can be taken away from me tomorrow"
The third video is of Soulja Boy getting interviewed by Wall Street Journal about his success that he has had and his work ethic.

Halloween: Community Carnival at Grace Long Beach

This year I dressed up as a chef and even got to help set up and tear down the event that my church put on where more than 3,000 people came out! Man thats soo rad!

People had such sweet costumes!

Daniel Tyler and I were passing out Balloons for some of the event. A bunch of ladies thought we were brothers which I thought was pretty funny. Both of us are really competitive and we challenged each other who can pass out more balloons faster. Guess who won! YUP! hahah

Crowd

My friend Matt "Dominator" Doms got me siked to help tear down the event with him and I got to meet so many awesome people after the event! Love my community!

Helping fix a tire and two year old bodyboard talk

This is a clip of my niece having a conversation with me about bodyboarding. I made the clip short since I had about 10 minutes of her chatting away. Instead of showing her the entire time I used a time lapse of me helping this guy change his tires and brake pads. She is going to be ripping on the boog when she grows up!

My niece is to funny!
