San Diego Zoo Day

My girlfriend and I got two free passes to go to the San Diego zoo. We both haven't gone there in ages so we took the opportunity to head down south. It was a lot of fun and we had a blast! She bought me this rad bracelet with her name to give me a daily reminder that she loves me. We got a flat tire on the way home but good old AAA came through and my parents met us half way so I could make it to work on time. It was a crazy day of adventures and a total blast!

Studying

I enjoy challenging myself to learn new stuff.
Dave Ramsey says, "Acting on incorrect information, no matter how deeply held, can be catastrophic. What you don't know can kill you."
Starting in June I will be challenging myself to learn how to play an instrument and learn spanish. This is not easy task self teaching yourself but I believe that one percent of daily improvement over time will have BIG results!

MVP Number Two

Last Friday I won my second MVP award at my Valet Job! To win MVP is no easy task. There are 80 employees fighting for the extra money bonus we get and bragging rights. Some people have worked there a year or two and still haven't won one. So to hear I got it again got me super stoked! I really enjoy working that job and the people I get to work with are all so rad! Everyone pushes each other and the vibes are always good! Going to keep giving 100% each and every day!

Care Package

Yesterday I got a sweet care package from my friend Erika Hessman all the way from South Dakota. I got a sweet motivational book, a birthday card and some home made cupcakes. This was wishing me a quick recovery!
Doc said as long as I keep up with my training I can get back in the water June 1st! I can't wait to BODYBOARD already!

My Birthday 24

My day was amazing! Breakfast in bed, physical therapy and chiropractor session for my back, getting to take my mom out to a massage for two an a half hours cause shes amazing, lunch with my best friend kevin, cruising with KJ and his lady, opening bday presents, dinner date with my gf to this really nice restaurant, and Thor! Sick day!

Old school seal beach surfer now bodyboarder Rick told me about this guy Doug who would be able to help my back injury I got and the pain it has been causing me as of late. Long story short the guy is a healer and I am feeling amazing!! Back in the water June 1st!

Ron dog shot this a while back. Even though its not a big wave I like it because when I was younger I remember seeing ron dog get a long left barrel, rolled, landed back in the barrel and made it out. Same move but years later :)

I took this photo on a road trip to the Arizona desert with my girlfriend and her family. The colors are crazy and this photo is such a good reminder to myself on how good God is.

Mexico from Kiril

My friend Kiril goes to Mexico every year and not just for a week or two but for months at a time. Kiril is a bodyboarder from Israel and such a cool guy. I have known him for the past four years and whenever we catch up its rad! The last time we hung out was in Hawaii a few months ago. He is a good bodyboarder and it blows my mind to think such a good bodyboarder came out of Israel!!
He sent me these two photos of me from three or four years ago just the other week. Hope I can make it this year!

Injury Update

Good news: Met with the Doc and she said my progress regarding my back improved so fast that she cut 2 weeks off when I was originally allowed back on the boog and in the salt
Bad news: Thats still another 2 weeks out of the water!!!!
I just wanna BOOGIE!!!!

Two days with Les Brown

This past weekend was unreal! I was hand picked to spend two days learning from the best motivational speaker in the world LES BROWN! He challenged the way I think and do everyday activities plus tons more cool stuff!
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am looking to learn from the master as often as possible! The crazy thing is that people spend $2,000 for a one one session with les! Somehow I got chosen from hundreds of other people and got it for FREE! That in itself is mental! I want to share more but I cant. If I do get mentored by him crazy doors are going to be open and my life is going to change drastically! Keep checking back!
