JSY video part two, Interview with Soomin Kim and OC Register Interview

Below is part two of my first workout session with Jason Yokobosky from JSY fitness. My friend Milo found time to edit this while writing school papers, studying, doing HW, hanging out with friends, filming, editing, making new designs and building websites. All I can say is he is one busy guys so I am super pumped he found time to edit this!

Chicago and session with RXYM team manager/photographer Matt Byzak

I got to go to Chicago for the weekend with my work. It was the biggest dance show that I have gotten to work at. We pulled some crazy hours. A few 18 hour straight days. I still had to do assignments for my classes so sleeping was almost out of the question for me haha When we first got there the weather went from being nice and sunny to the next day snowing all day and night. Chicago was a lot of fun and beautiful. I definetley wouldn't mind going back and checking way more spots out. Working over 40+ hours from Friday to Sunday I was amping for some waves right when I got home on monday. It was crazy to go from 30 degree weather in the morning to a nice 78 degree sunny day at the beach. I got a call from my team manager Matt Byzak from RXYM right when I landed to head to the beach to meet up to bodyboard and shoot some photos. I was super pumped to get in the water even though I only slept for 11 hours in three days.

I got to surf one of my favorite waves today which was sweet! I also did a video interview for the OC Register at the beach today so check back for pictures from today's session and the interview. Also part two of the JSY fitness workout will be up by tomorrow!

First time using the Video Camera, Todays session, Zinka news and Russels B'day

This was the first time that Milo and I used the Canon Vixia HF200 camera that I purchased. We felt like little kids because we just got the camera and wanted to film the very next day no matter what the conditions were like. It was an average 2-3ft day at my local beach on December 1st. More edits with better waves coming soon!


The waves have been pretty bad where I live lately. I have been getting in the water everyday still and usually twice a day. Today I thought it was going to be a lot better but there were still some fun ones. My friend Kimleng's girlfriend Casey filmed us today. Below are a few frame grabs. Thank's Casey!!

Detroit, JSY training and JSY video part one

I got to go to Detroit, Michigan for a work trip this past weekend. It is the state my mom was born. It is also where my Dad and my favorite hockey team is from, the RED WINGS! Work was fun and we clocked in some long hours. I even got to learn a bunch of new stuff which was rad! Detroit was pretty cold I think it got down to 19 degrees. The people were ultra friendly and Red Wing fans can and WILL be found EVERYWHERE!!

My friend Daniel Washburn picked me up from the Long Beach Airport and the first thing I did was go straight to the beach. The waves were nothing special but it felt awesome to get in the water after working 37 hours in three days! The next day (tuesday) I met up with my trainer Jason from JSY Fitness. I keep him in the loop daily with all of my training I do all the days that I don't get to see him along with the food I am eating. I have been lagging on my training since my HW has been very demanding and he made sure that I made up for it that day! I got to surf a wave on the way home that I never have and it was sick for all the wind swell in the water. Nothing special but with nice sunny skies and no one around why wouldn't you want to be in the water?? My friend Milo documented my first ever workout with Jason from I think December. Eli spent three days in Cali with me. The list of things we did was crazy from waves, the mountains, hanging in LA and a basketball game just for starters! I was so stoked to show my friend where I live since he has shown me all around Australia.

Air Ball

I worked in Omaha this past weekend. It was cold, long hours but still a lot of fun! Each weekend is something new and fresh. It is really cool to see how much dedication some of these dancers have. I ran the backstage one day checking in all the dancers and as I was cleaning the stage I got called out by the DJ and the crowd to dance so while I was sweeping I put in a little performance haha So amped Andrea Lowe asked me to be her dance partner in Highschool! 17 hour work days fly by. Going to Detroit tomorrow!!
