Nate Bautista Little Black Books

Nate and I in Utah

Have you ever wanted access to something that you couldn’t have?

My friend Nate has been involved in the company I am currently with many years before I became a brand partner with them. He was trained by a leader that was a legend in the company years before I was involved.  I recently had the opportunity to learn from this legend through my friend Nate's journals of notes from his teachings.

The Journals

Nate and I become friends last year, and he offered to let me borrow his journal to see the stuff that this “legend” taught him.  After reading his journals, I learned a lot of new stuff that I can take away and apply.  However, the coolest part is that so much of the information is the same that I learn even today.  If you or I want to be successful, there is a four letter word we must learn and that is "WORK." The other word we must learn is "DUPLICATION."  There is no magic formula; just put in the time, keep bettering your best, and in time you will be a great one just like the top income leaders!

Whatever goal you are looking to accomplish, stay the course because you never know when you will have your next mini victory or major victory!

2013 Convention Recap

My GF Vanessa and I learning and hanging with Millionaire in the company Mr and Mrs Aaron Dinh

I recently went to my company's annual convention, and it was one of the most motivating yet humbling experiences to date. Going there with less people than I brought the year before and not getting to walk the stage nor rank advance almost made me cry.

The MOVEMENT Family

When we flew into Salt Lake City UTAH this is the sign that welcomed us! Love this company

I know that it is a bit drastic, but I always like to look at the positive in everything.  When you look at things in that way, watch the fruitfulness come. Even though I brought less people in my personal organization than last year, I brought quality, HUNGRY people.  It is said, "I would rather have one leader than 20 followers because that one leader can motivate hundreds." The people that came are potential big-time leaders; all with their own stories and all with their own reasons why they are deciding to build a part-time business.  I really admire their sacrifice and dedication to invest in themselves, demonstrated by choosing to spend money to attend the event even when it meant time away from work and family, to become better people all around!

My team mates are HUNGRY for success! John B and EVERYONE doing work to make their dreams a reality

Pro Bodyboarder and my friend Sebass Perez came to learn how to surf and travel for the rest of his life. Not just for a short period of time. Here learning from Jordan Kemper
Getting to travel with my amazing girlfriend is amazing! She is doing big things in this company and finding her niche

I am competitive by nature which is good, but can also be bad. One thing I learned is to use my competitive nature for the best, and that is to inspire me to be better and be happy for the people that are winning. I feel it is so easy to be jealous of other people winning, getting attention or getting to their goals quicker.  However, I have realized that people are all on their individual path.  If what you are doing is the right thing and you know you are doing the right thing, your time to shine WILL come--it is only a matter of time. Seeing so many people win prestigious awards filled my heart with joy knowing that one day I am going to help a partner in my business win some killer awards. Rank advancing was never really that important to me until I came to this year's convention. SO many people would ask me when I was going to the next level.  However, I never had a big desire to do so and was content helping people, getting orders and bodyboarding. BUT when my friend Jordan spoke, something inside me boiled up and fired me up to go out there and help as many people as possible better their health and their wealth. It is WRONG of me not to share what I know that has benefited me and my family so much. Now with my mindset changed, ranking will happen after I help enough people get to their health and/or wealth goals. That is what is driving me, along with helping my team increase their money and focus on their success. I loved my friend Jordan's speech the most because he challenged us to take a look at our hearts and evaluate what we are doing. That was the most impactful speech that I have heard in so long, and one that will drive me to the next level

One of the fastest growers in all of the Phillipines Billy!

Muliti Millionaire and Top five income earners in my company Jeremy Stansfield. Finally got to meet him!

My boy from SD and fellow bodyboarder Nate!

My challenge for you is to watch the video of Jordan that I recorded and take a look at your heart. Once you do that, share it with someone that is close to you. Whether you are in a business or not, you will learn a lot.

Finally, one of my biggest take aways of the 2013 international convention is the amount of new friendships I have made from all around the world. Go out and meet some new people that will help you get to your goals quicker, and remember to better your best daily!

While I was on this trip I got word that I was featured in the new Riptide Magazine from Australia

Do All You Can While You Have The Time

Photographer Jeremy Philips capturing a photo of me at a waves that wakes up this time of year
People would always say, “Time flies,” but this year has been going mach speed!  Can you believe that 2013 is already MORE than half way over?

Tracking on my reading goals

I have constantly been watching Art Williams’ video Just do it because one thing that I have learned is that it is MUCH easier to think about what you want to accomplish than to actually do it.  I want to take more action on my goals and dreams and not just “think” about them.  If you are thinking, “Yes, so do I,” then watch that video daily until you can repeat word for word what Art is saying since he is just speaking truth.  If you even want to take it to the next level to hit your goals, then write on a 3x5 card, “JUST DO IT. TAKE ACTION,” and have that for your quarter 3 goal.  I am mostly focused on applying this theme into my business since that is my main focus right now.

Filming when I can for a new video for my sponsor BZ Frame by Vanessa Mota

I am 26 years old; if there is one thing I know it is that I am not getting any younger (haha).  On a serious note, I know that I am not nearly reaching my potential or what I am capable of which drives me to be the best I can be.  This is something that many people can relate to, especailly if you are cahllenging yourself to jsut be better in EVERY area of your life.  The fact that July is here is just crazy!  Each day I want to know I gave 100% and gave my best because no one knows when their last breathe will be, so making the most of each day is crucial.

Fitness has been a big theme all year. Getting healthier each day
If you are someone that KNOWS that you can be doing more or that KNOWS they want better health, better finances or just want to be challenged, then make sure to contact me.  Remember, as quoted in the video, to ask yourself, “What am I doing today to get me ahead for tomorrow?”
Better Your Best!

Never Give Up On Your Dreams

Looking forward to more water time!

Is there something that you always wanted, but didn’t think you could have? After my injury, I lost all hope in my bodyboarding dreams.  However, there is a famous quote, “second chances come when you least expect them.” Well, I believe my second chance just might have come.

Official Poster by BZ and Churchill

As I grew up in my bodyboarding world, there was one rider that I ALWAYS looked up to and wanted to be like; that rider is Jeff Hubbard.  I still remember the first time I actually met him.  I was 15 years old and drove down south to Dana Point, California to get his autograph at a shop promo for Alternative Surf.  My friends and I packed into our friend’s mom’s mini van to make the drive together.  We were all excited to meet our hero.  Jeff represented a board brand called BZ bodyboards.  Every poster in my bathroom and my room was of Jeff Hubbard doing crazy airs all around the world.  He was my hero at the time, and I wanted everything he had.  The vision of BZ was burned into my mind.  My dream was to one day have BZ as my sponsor and be on the same team as Jeff Hubbard.  I fell in love with the board shape that Jeff rode.  What was cool is that when I signed with Wave Rebel bodyboards at 18years old, they allowed to have all my custom-made boards like the HUBB model.  I rode for this board company for 7 years, and had the best relationship with them.  Wave Rebel stuck with me while I got my education and throughout my injury.  I am forever grateful to Mike and the 360inc crew.  Nevertheless, when I was approached by my dream sponsor, things started to change..

Filming for a new edit for August Frame Grab by My GF Vanessa

BZ pro boards and Churchill got a new marketing and team manager whose vision aligned very similar to mine.  When he got the job, he reached out to me and hooked me up with their boards and fins right away.  It took two months of negotiating a contract where we were able to find a balance that allows me to focus on building my business and do what I love which is BODYBOARDING.  I mean you can’t be all business all the time; you need some balance and fun...right.  :)  Now I am locked in for a year of fun, traveling, magazine and video trips, surfing sick waves when I can, and getting to follow my passion in the water while building a business.  GREAT COMBO!

Out with the old boards.

If there is something that you really want to do:  compete in a contest, run a marathon, go on a surf trip, start a business, travel.  Whatever it may be, I say, “Go for it!”  Create a plan, have a deadline, work at it everyday, and make it happen. You only have one life, so go big and have fun!  Better your best!

How A Fish Out Of The Water Stays Motivated and Healthy

I still haven't found a machine at the gym that can replicate the work out you get from bodyboarding Pic by Sawitz

I never liked hitting the gym or doing typical workouts.  I would always just bodyboard for hours upon hours, do beach runs, swim laps, etc.  Lately, a new motivation has come upon me and home workouts have been so fun!

Desiring to be the product of the product

I have been beyond booked with business lately, so going to the beach all the time is just not in my cards--especially when I know the waves aren’t going to be that good (in cali that is a lot, not ideal for bodyboarding).  I want to stay in shape, so I got some home workouts, weights and have been challenging myself everyday!

Group Challenges are always fun and keep you accountable and Motivated

By doing this, my motivation has been at an all-time high.  Not only has my motivation increased, but my fitness has as well.  When I get in the water my bodyboarding is much stronger and I don’t get as tired.  As a result, I am motivated to workout more!  The cycle goes on and on.

My all time favorite video before a workout

I want to challenge you to find a way to keep yourself motivated even if it isn’t something that you ideally would do.  Trust me; it will be worth it!

My Magazine Interview Challenges Me To Go Bigger

Enjoying a wave in Nicaragua on my trip with BBR Magazine

My life has taken so many twist and turns.  I’ve hit tons of highs and a few lows, but everything that I have done has led me to the path that I am on right now.  All I can say is that it feels right.
It’s funny how my mind works, but everything that I go through is like riding waves.  Right now the waves are fun and playful.  Things have been going well, and I am having fun.  However, when you ride the waves that are comfortable and see other people on wild waves, progressing, going bigger, and challenging themselves, a fire is created within and you get hungry and want to progress.
The same goes for my business.  I have been content where I was with my business.  With the launch of this magazine as well as seeing people my age doing a lot better than I am right now, a fire is burning within me and I am MOTIVATED to go bigger.

Top Left photo was a shoot with Jason Yokobosky, Middle photo is from a boat trip to Indonesia, the bottom photo is in seal beach, CA. The Main Picture is speaking to a packed out event for the company I partnered with

MLMtraining magazine wanted their first issue to include an interview about my story.  I don’t want to give away too much, so the short story goes like this: professional bodyboarder, college graduate to a entrepreneur who didn’t want to give up his freedom of this free-spirit lifestyle of the beach and traveling to have to work a typical JOB.
The magazine is at the apple store for your I Pad newsstands.
There are tons of other stories about ordinary people having extraordinary results in business and in life.

I love Mainland Mexico

The magazine has a four-page feature on me and took a look at my perspective of what is going on in my life right now. I am NO WHERE near where I want to be, but I know I am headed in the right direction with the people I am surrounded by: my family, girlfriend, and church family support along with my VISION to help inspire people to better their best each and every day

Helping the next gen and speaking to a packed out room at the MOVEMENT office

I like competing against my potential.  Nevertheless, I have to admit that seeing people my age or younger than me doing a lot better than I am in business fires me up to be better, dedicate more hours to my craft and most importantly Better My Best each and every day!
What is an area that you have been coasting through, but you know deep down inside you can improve and get better at or even better DOMINATE!  Whatever it is, all I want to say is GO FOR IT!!

Before Pics! Chubby boy

Do you ever feel like you work out but you're not getting the results you wanted?  Well I felt the SAME way!
A big factor for me was my eating habits and lack of sleep.
Eating junk food or fatty foods will not get you that body you want...trust me.
I LOVE sweets and desserts but am now challenging myself to eat cleaner, prep my meals, have a schedule and just go for it!
For my new 90 day goal that started April 8th a lot of my focus is going to be fitness, eating right and getting 8 hours of sleep! (I use to sleep 5 hours a day)
This is an ENTIRE lifestyle change but when you market and promote for a health science company you have to look the part.
I am VERY excited and am actually stoked that I am putting myself out there as it will add even MORE motivation for myself!
Can't wait to post some update pics every 30 day.
I got checked out my Ricca Garnder to get my body fat and measurements.

Peeps

Growing up I would always hear my youth pastor Robert Benoun tell me that "You are who you surround yourself with, so surround yourself around people you want to be like"
I got to have lunch last week with some really amazing people that I am being challenged by, learning from, and who want to see me succeed. This is a great place for me to be and I am soo excited for the future!
